Sue Lindsay
Sue Lindsay is the winner of the New Zealand Young Executive of the Year, Southlander of the Year, Direct Marketer of the Year finalist and winner of the World Young Business Achievers award in Beijing China. She has been widely recognized as an inspired New Zealander with a dynamic approach to life and business.
As the General Manager of a Top 200 New Zealand company Sue challenged conventional industry and business wisdom and transformed a traditional rural service company into a dynamic, customer experience driven organisation taking revenues from $30 to over $80million and all in just 5 years!
Her simple but powerful philosophy based simply on “Daring to be Different”, and finding ways to stand out from the crowd in a world of sameness. By constantly asking “how can we do things differently and better?” this inspired team achieved results many just dream of and best of all they loved what they did – and it showed!
Sue loves business and has an absolute fascination for what makes great people and great organisations tick.
Since leaving her corporate life behind in 2002, Sue has intensified her study of successful companies and leaders and has worked closely with a diversity of clients from executives in large corporations, corporate teams, to entrepreneurs with that ‘big idea’ that’s just waiting to happen.
Sue’s career brings together experience in tourism, real estate, farming, the pharmaceutical industry and agribusiness. She is now the Director and owner of Take Action Events and Coaching and works as a speaker, coach and facilitator, working with individuals, groups, corporates and organisations throughout New Zealand and also internationally. Sue also serves as a director on a numbers of boards.
Sue and her husband Warren live in Queenstown in the South Island of New Zealand.
