Ruth Webber has unusual breadth of experience as a coach, a facilitator and a developer of innovative experiential workshops and training programs. She has worked with organizations of all sizes, from large multinationals to local community health service organizations, in over twenty-five countries and across a wide variety of industries, including the public and non-profit sectors. Through empathetic listening and reflecting, Ruth creates a safe environment that encourages clients to explore creative solutions to the issues they face. As a Secretan Associate, Ruth serves on the faculty of Higher Ground Leadership Retreats.
Ruth also has been a nutritionist, a teacher, and a small business owner. She has worked as a manager in the Health Services industry and has served on several national committees in her native Scotland. She has won a national (British) award for experiential training course design and the 1990 Most Outstanding Member of the World award from Junior Chamber International. She has developed innovative examination courses used by a consortium of over 30 schools.
Ruth has a keen intuition for asking good questions, "holding the space" and for hearing what has–and has not–been said. She works one on one and with groups to help people work together in the spirit of courage, authenticity, love and grace. She is enthusiastic, creative, friendly and caring.
To manifest her Cause of enabling others to flourish and grow, Ruth serves others through her Calling of coaching and facilitation. Her Destiny is to motivate others to contribute to the great mystery that is in them, thereby creating a wonderful world.
Passionate about connecting with people, Ruth uses art and creativity to help people recognize their own personal magic. Ruth is currently studying for an MSc in People and Organisation Development.
