Julie Snyder brings extensive cultural transformation experience to Leadership Beyond Limits, LLC, a Westerville, Ohio-based coaching and consulting company dedicated to creating positive workplaces. She believes that organizations transform when leaders transform and that it is a leader’s prerogative to nurture a positive culture.
Before starting her own company Julie served as a human resources professional in retail, manufacturing and most recently healthcare. She was introduced to Higher Ground Leadership® through a retreat conducted by Lance Secretan for her employer, where she discovered her Cause was to nurture inspiring workplaces through teaching, coaching and leadership. Julie led her organization’s cultural transformation journey and facilitated over 30 Higher Ground Leadership® Retreats. She was responsible for building an infrastructure to support the cultural transformation that culminated in a 50 percent reduction in turnover and 64 percent increase in employee satisfaction.
Julie has more than twenty years of human resources and organizational development experience which has provided her with insight into the best (and worst) of the work-life experience. She understands the pressures, values conflicts and interpersonal dynamics that can threaten employee satisfaction and organizational performance. And she has experienced the realization of inspirational culture that nurtures the spirit and leads to exceptional performance.
Julie received her coaching training and certification through The Coaches Training Institute and she inspires her clients as a life and leadership coach. She is an accredited facilitator of Cultural Transformation Tools and the Insights Discovery Evaluator. Julie has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ohio University and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Applied Positive Psychology program at the University of Pennsylvania. She serves her community as a Board Member of Mental Health America Franklin County and is a member of Women for Economic Leadership and Development and the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio.
