Janice Parviainen is one of Canada’s foremost speakers and workshop facilitators on personality types and on psychometric tools and their applications. Janice demonstrates with real-life examples how to apply psychometrics in a wide range of business areas, including sales and marketing, customer service, management and organizational change. She has strong experience in the financial services industry and special expertise in employee retention issues. In her work as a Secretan Faculty member, Janice serves as a specialist in psychometric tools.
Janice emphasizes understanding our sacred personality as a path to personal transformation. She uses the idea of the sacred personality as a way of looking at one’s self objectively enough to question one’s "calling" or spiritual path in a fresh and positive light. This connects people with their strengths in a new way and helps them be more tolerant of their own weaknesses and of the diversity around them.
Janice has a relaxed and humorous style in her presentations. She prepares for all her work with customized research and a strong focus on her clients’ expectations. She is enthusiastic and radiates her love of people.
Janice’s Calling is to inspire and lead others by listening, speaking, writing and BEING. Through her Character, to change the world by reawakening love, spirit and values within the family, she hopes to realize her Destiny, to bring more love to this planet.
Janice currently is writing two books, on parenting personalities and on the spiritual development of children, and has published articles on personality types and psychometric tools. With her husband and three children, Janice provides a Respite Home (part-time foster family) with Durham Family Services. The family operates "Positive Power Wind Sun Water," a demonstration center for teaching children, architects and electricians and EVERYONE about wind, sun and water as an alternative energy source.
