Dr. Ed Boudreau is a Board Certified Emergency physician at Mount Carmel St Ann’s, in Westerville, Ohio. As part of the Senior Leadership, at Mount Carmel Health System he was instrumental in introducing the concepts of applying Six Sigma into a large multi- campus health system. As a member of the first class of Six Sigma Guide trained at Mount Carmel he went on to complete the training as a Master Guide. He continues to practice Emergency Medicine and is the Vice President, Healthcare Practice Leader for Breakthrough Management Group and a member of The Secretan Center Faculty Team.
Dr. Boudreau is an expert in process management, performance improvement and Higher Ground Leadership®.
As the founder of Immediate Health Associates, a local provider of Emergency and Urgent Care services he has led it’s growth for over 20 years to a 150 member employee owned company in 8 locations. He had had the opportunity to teach performance improvement methods in both large and small organizations. With particular interest in the use of performance improvement tools, and a specialization in healthcare, Dr. Boudreau enjoys working with leaders to teach the discipline of process improvement tools and techniques rotted in the principles of Higher Ground Leadership®.
With extensive experience in Medical Staff organization, design and governance he has worked in leadership development and credentialing. He is a graduate of Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has completed the Executive Program in Health Care Management at The Ohio State University and is a member and Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physician as well as the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
