Juan Aguilera (Sydney, Australia) is an executive coach, consultant and lecturer in coaching, change and culture.
He has a Masters of Business Administration from IESA, as well as a Masters in Human Resources and Coaching from the University of Sydney.
Juan brings a great amount of commercial experience into his coaching; from owning his own business to working in a venture capital firm.
During his MBA studies, he became interested in leadership, and worked as the assistant to the leadership professor at the IESA business school.
While working for an investment bank in Venezuela, Juan participated in the team responsible for the growth of a new venture that grew from 3 people to 150, in less than a year, doubling the revenue target from US$ 5M to US$ 10M, in the same period.
After a successful career in Venezuela, Juan decided to explore new horizons and relocated to Australia; he initially worked for a British company as a business development manager for Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. While working there he completed the necessary training to become a Robbins Research certified coach.
Juan has extensive experience helping individuals and organisations to create changes, increase performance and achieve goals.
Juan is a member of the University of Sydney Coaching and Mentoring Association and the Australian Human Resources Institute.
He is accredited and experienced in the use of Human Synergistics individual/team development tools (LSI/GSI) including team workshop facilitation.
Juan lectures on coaching at IESA (a prestigious business school in South America).
Juan also has a fascination with human performance and stamina; this has led him to complete 8 marathons, one ultra marathon and ascents to mountains over 5,000 mts including mt. Cotopaxi and Pico Bolivar.
